The 5-minute routine

  • 1 minute: breathe slowly (inhale 4, exhale 6)

  • 1 minute: notice body tension (jaw, shoulders, hands)

  • 1 minute: name the emotion (excitement, fear of missing out, stress)

  • 1 minute: ask one question: ‘Will I still want this tomorrow?’

  • 1 minute: decide your limit (max price / walk-away point)
